Microneedling is a particularly effective, intensive procedure - hence your skin needs a lot of moisture and protection after each session. Microneedling treatment is basically suitable for all skin types. However, if you have fresh acne scars, warts, wounds, inflammation or active herpes you should not choose this treatment for the time being.

We recommend that the microneedling treatment be carried out on a day when the customer ensures that the skin is not in contact with hands, make-up and greasy substances. This also means that sunbathing, extreme sports and extended baths should be avoided for a few days. Afterwards we recommend using an SPF 50 sunscreen to protect the skin. 

The following should be observed before treatment:

  • Long sunbathing sessions should be avoided
  • Needling can be performed no earlier than 4 weeks after Botox treatments
  • Needling cannot be performed after filler treatments and hyaluronic acid injections that have taken place no earlier than 4 weeks previously.

A session including prep treatment and aftercare takes around 45 minutes.
